In this role, you will lead contract negotiations with current and prospective suppliers for Aptitude, collaborating with multiple departments and business stakeholders. You will build internal and external relationships, utilize data-driven insights and develop contract strategies that deliver value to the providers and suppliers that we support. You will also manage various projects and communicate project progression, at all stages, within specified deadlines.

  • Initiate and lead contract negotiations and amendments needed for active and prospective supplier agreements within the aptitude platform.
  • Manage efforts in implementation and ongoing utilization of aptitude's Contract Lifecycle Management System.
  • Identify and prioritize top contract opportunities with Aptitude supplier team.
  • Manage on-going audit process and alignment of all documents in aptitude, Vizient, and provider systems as needed.
  • Maintain post execution processes by archiving and updating contracts and other legal documents.
  • Assist with strategies and build action-oriented plans to drive efficiencies and improve business processes.
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong experience with contracts and contract negotiation required.
  • Strong Project Management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Must have presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with DocuSign, CLM, and/or Salesforce preferred.
