About The Position

Nexus Health Systems is seeking a Senior Content Strategist with a strong copywriting background to lead the development and execution of written marketing content across digital and print channels. This is a senior-level individual contributor role with high visibility across the organization and significant cross-functional collaboration. This position will serve as the primary owner of written content across marketing channels and will help shape consistent messaging across programs, audiences, and service lines. The ideal candidate is an experienced writer and content strategist who can quickly learn complex healthcare programs, translate clinical concepts into clear language, and execute high-quality content in a fast-paced environment. This role combines strategic content planning with hands-on writing, editing, and digital execution.

  • Understanding of SEO writing best practices

Nice To Haves

  • WordPress experience preferred
  • Experience with email marketing and social media platforms preferred
  • Healthcare or hospital marketing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop written content for internal and external marketing collateral
  • Write and update website content, landing pages, and program descriptions
  • Create email campaigns and eBlasts using Campaign Monitor
  • Write social media copy and campaign messaging (Vista Social or similar platforms)
  • Produce blogs, articles, and thought leadership content
  • Develop stakeholder messaging, speaking points, and leadership communications
  • Write patient, champion, and family storytelling content
  • Create SEO-informed content to support digital growth
  • Produce content for events, program launches, and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all materials
  • Make copy edits and updates directly within WordPress
  • Manage publishing timelines, editorial calendars, and content workflows
  • Support campaign messaging and content planning across marketing initiatives
  • Maintain accuracy, clarity, and readability across all digital and print content
  • Interview clinicians, program leaders, and stakeholders to develop accurate content
  • Translate complex healthcare topics into clear, engaging language
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership on messaging strategy
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure content accuracy and alignment
  • Take ownership of learning Nexus programs and applying that knowledge to content development
