About The Position

Dalberg Advisors is a strategic advisory firm combining the best of private sector strategy skills and rigorous analytical capabilities with deep knowledge and networks across emerging and frontier markets. We work collaboratively across the public, private and philanthropic sectors to fuel inclusive growth and help clients achieve their goals. You aspire to become a social impact leader by tackling some of the most critical issues facing society today—from advancing gender equity and justice, to addressing climate change, to expanding financial inclusion and economic mobility. You bring structured problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to translating evidence into practical, actionable solutions. You are comfortable engaging with data and analysis and open to using new tools (including AI-enabled approaches) where they add value—always in service of impact, equity, and sound judgment. You are a motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You are excited to build your career in Washington DC or Seattle, contributing to locally anchored and globally relevant work. Consultants and Senior Consultants are essential contributors to our organization, spearheading the delivery of inventive solutions and offering analytical excellence to our clients. They take the lead in research and analysis, molding the team's understanding with both quantitative precision and insights gleaned from engaging stakeholders. As those who dive deep into the issues, Consultants and Senior Consultants think critically and creatively to develop insights based on their findings from the research process. They gain a broad knowledge base that cuts across sectors and geographies while driving the core of every project’s work. While both Consultants and Senior Consultants play vital roles within the team, the main distinction lies in the additional responsibilities and level of ownership expected of Senior Consultants. Senior Consultants are tasked with independently overseeing workstreams, cultivating relationships with clients, and providing leadership, and mentoring and managing junior team members, as needed. Dalberg is a platform for change. Our staff are encouraged to take initiative, contribute to firm-building efforts, and help shape how we work. Learning happens through hands-on engagement, mentorship, and collaboration from day one. Our clients come to us with some of the most difficult global problems, seeking solutions where the obvious ones have failed. We are entrepreneurs and innovators, designers and creative problem solvers, thinkers, and doers who supply new ideas, drawing from a deep base of knowledge that cuts across sectors and geographies and is growing every day. We partner with and serve communities, governments, and companies throughout the world.
