About The Position

ECS is seeking a Senior Consultant to work remotely.

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Healthcare Transformation
(OHT) is leading a Radiology Solutions Integrated Project Team (IPT) focused on
creating enterprise-wide solutions to remediate delays in report turnaround in
VHA radiology for facility level routine exams and for the National
Teleradiology Program (NTP) STAT exams. Ongoing delays in routine and STAT
radiology readings require review of processes and the development of fast
acting solutions to ensure the VHA National Radiology Program (NRP) is in policy
compliance with timelines. VHA has continued emphasis on patient safety and
ensuring high reliability in clinical practices. The IPT will determine
appropriate actions to improve radiology workflows, establish processes for
resource allocation, finalize strategies for contingency planning of backlogs, and mitigate the key challenges to delays in delivering imaging studies to VHA
facilities. The IPT will have a primary goal of developing and delivering
short-, mid-, and long-term strategies regarding People, Process and
Technology.

Requirements

• Must have direct experience with program management and implementation, health system operations, and client management.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 8
• Must understand federal government budget, program evaluation, and change management processes.
• Must understand personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment and proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and, feedback.
• Strong in communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts

Responsibilities

• Develop a National VHA Radiology guidebook to help standardize the identified objectives for the People and Process workstreams.
• Provide strong writing and editing skills to help document the desired guidance set forth by the larger IPT.
• Be proficient in working with Microsoft products to include Teams, Calendar, PPT, and planning options.
• Develop project management artifacts as requested by the Project Leader to align with recommendations for strategies identified.
• Execute project management to prioritize and monitor tasks, schedule and estimate task durations and dependencies, conduct lifecycle and strategic planning.
• Provide customer service in engaging with team members to develop the guidebook and artifacts to support the IPT overall goals.
