About The Position

The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Software Consultant who can blend technical aptitude and understanding with exceptional listening, facilitation, and consultative skills. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, helping them achieve their organizational goals through the power of best in class budgeting software. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, guide them toward solutions that make an impact, and help them unlock the full value of Euna Budget Pro . If you enjoy problem solving , collaborating across teams, and shaping meaningful outcomes for government organizations, this role will feel both exciting and rewarding. What You’ll Do: You’ll be part of a team of tenured professionals known for their breadth and depth in best practice business processes and Euna Budget Pro capabilities. In this role, you will: Lead client engagements with a consultative mindset, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders. Analyze client business processes and public sector budgeting workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation. Deliver advisory, guidance, and project based work through time and materials engagements. Support a wide range of engagements—from Day 2 implementation phase rollouts to full-scale system and business process optimization initiatives. Translate client needs into technical requirements and collaborate with development, report writers, and cross functional teammates to design feasible , high impact solutions. Serve as a knowledgeable and confident liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring accurate execution of requirements. Demonstrate thought leadership by sharing best practices for budgeting, software usage, and organizational transformation. Provide technical product demonstrations and craft clear, compelling materials that communicate the recommended path forward. Stay informed about industry trends, budgeting practices, and evolving product capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development (and/or implementations), consulting, or project management, resulting in SME-level expertise in consulting, engagement management, and /or public sector budgeting processes.
  • Strong consultative presence—excellent listening, facilitation, and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements with clarity and organization.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management foundations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to build trust quickly with clients and peers.
  • Appreciation for diversity of talents and perspectives
  • An embrace of AI forward thinking
  • A thirst for knowledge and creative approach to problem solving

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or similar credential .
  • Experience with cloud based software development and deployment.
  • Background working in regulated environments.
