What Your Impact Will Be Deliver expert guidance on air quality permitting and compliance for major capital projects. Influence environmental strategies for global clients across diverse sectors. Contribute to innovative climate initiatives, including greenhouse gas reduction and energy efficiency programs. Build trusted relationships with regulators and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. What You'll Bring Required: BS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences (MS preferred). 3+ years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance (4+ years preferred). Hands-on experience with air quality construction permits, Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Preferred: Advanced degree in a related field. Experience with climate change projects such as GHG inventories and emission reduction strategies. Experience with New York’s Climaite Leadership & Community Protection Act (CLCPA) GHG and Co-pollutant reduction strategies and programs. Familiarity with emerging Low Carbon Fuel Standards and complex permitting programs. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on EHS and Air Quality compliance, sustainability, contaminated site management, and due diligence transaction projects. Prepare and manage air quality permits (Title V, PSD, NSR, State Facility Permits, Air Registrations) and liaise with regulators. Develop emission inventories and assess pollution control technologies. Implement climate change initiatives, including public disclosure and verification. Support RACT, BACT, LAER, and MACT compliance programs and deliver actionable recommendations. Ensure quality standards across multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule. Foster strong client relationships and collaborate with ERM’s national network of experts. Perform multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects. For the Senior Consultant, Air Quality position, the anticipated annual base pay is $ 84,860 –$108,285 ( USD) . Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
