From environmental planning, permitting, remediation, and site characterization to chemical data management and hydrogeology, Kleinfelder offers a variety of services designed to provide technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Senior Air Quality Professional to join our team in the South Division! The position is available in: Charlotte, North Carolina Raleigh, North Carolina Atlanta, Georgia The primary role of this position is to provide environmental and engineering technical support for various aspects of air quality compliance programs including: preparation of emission inventories, permit application development, regulatory review, compliance recordkeeping, and greenhouse gas reporting The applicant should have strong technical experience with air quality analyses and also have experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate would also have experience mentoring junior level staff on technical work. This position will be expected to communicate with clients. The applicant may also provide multi-media environmental compliance support to industrial, transportation, energy and other clients, to include: stormwater permitting, SPCC plan development, waste management support, compliance auditing, and industrial hygiene support. Additional activities may include site assessment and groundwater remediation support. The candidate should have a working knowledge of Federal and various State air quality regulations. The successful candidate will be a part of Kleinfelder’s compliance hub of environmental experts that can support projects both regionally and throughout the United States. Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
