About The Position

Ryan Companies has an immediate hiring need for a Senior Project Engineer for a data center project in Minnesota. The Senior Project Engineer will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies. The objective is to place the employee in field and office operations while working from a construction project site for a minimum of six months and preferably for the duration of an entire construction project. Some things you can expect to do: Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools. Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers. May have more involvement in entire job cycle on selected small projects, under supervision. Travel as needed. Some things we expect you should have: 2-4 years of successful commercial construction experience in a design-build environment. Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management. Able to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems. Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing is required. Familiar and comfortable with current technology. Compensation: The salary range is $85,000 to $94,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
