About The Position

Concept Solutions is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Information Technology (AIT) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Services under the ITIPSS contract vehicle. The position is responsible for confirming the accuracy of Configuration Management (CM) established baselines and submit corrections and improvement proposals for CM processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degree (engineering, math, and science related degrees are considered acceptable alternative degrees); eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• FAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and verify all baselined Configuration Items (CIs) and relationships and the dependencies among CIs
• Ensure CI status is properly maintained throughout the change process
• Provide technical support to FAA IT Services in planning and defining the scope, objectives, policy, and processes of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Manage baselines in the CMDB and other repositories
• Provide timely CI updates to the CMDB
• Provide Status Accounting, keeping track of component status throughout the entire lifecycle of configuration items
• Provide Verification and Audit services to verify correct information is recorded in the CMDB, followed by scheduled audits
• Provide ad-hoc Configuration Status Reports on CI status from data maintained in online sources/CMDB
