Raytheon’s Configuration Management & Data Management (CMDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CMDM organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. The Sensors, Surveillance, and Space (SSS) Configuration Management department is looking for an individual to perform the role of a Senior Configuration Analyst. What You Will Do: Participate in the coordination and administration of configuration & data management activities related to engineering documents (work products). Ensure configuration, data and change activities are followed by configuration management policies and customer contractual requirements. Review and analyze engineering change data and coordinate changes with design and systems engineering, quality, operations, manufacturing and contracts. This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Goleta, CA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in including any combination of the following: Product Data Management software applications (e.g. Windchill / cPDM)
  • Engineering release processes
  • Configuration management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with engineering change control boards (CCBs).
  • Experience collaborating with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
  • Experience identifying potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data, regarding configuration management issues, and taking corrective action as needed.
