About The Position

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Computer Network Support Specialist to join us The Senior Computer Network Support Specialist provides advanced technical support and engineering assistance for TSA’s enterprise network infrastructure, delivering expert-level troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization services across LAN/WAN, campus networking, wireless systems, and cloud connectivity environments. This individual works alongside network architects and the O&M contractor to resolve complex network performance and reliability issues, supports the implementation and validation of new network capabilities, and contributes to the development of network standards and operational procedures. The Senior Computer Network Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring TSA’s network environment meets the availability and performance requirements of a 24x7x365 mission-critical operation. Key responsibilities include providing Tier 2/3 network troubleshooting support during engineering deployments and transition periods, conducting network health assessments and performance analyses, and developing configuration documentation and operational runbooks for implemented network solutions. The Senior Computer Network Support Specialist also supports cutover planning and execution for network upgrades and migrations, participates in 14-day operational testing periods following transitions, and provides technical input to lifecycle replacement assessments for aging network equipment. The individual coordinates closely with TSA’s O&M contractor to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and operational readiness at the conclusion of each engineering project.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of enterprise network support and engineering experience is required, with demonstrated proficiency in routing and switching, network diagnostics, wireless systems, and enterprise network management tools.
  • All personnel must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents capable of obtaining TSA fitness determination and PIV card access, and must be available to support after-hours network maintenance and deployment activities.
  • Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal network environments governed by DHS cybersecurity standards is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are valued.
