About The Position

Within the Electric Risk & Compliance organization, the Data Quality & Analytics team provides data analytics capabilities and platforms that enable effective responses to regulatory inquiries about customer affordability, system reliability, and public safety. The team works cross-functionally across the Electric Risk & Compliance organization to enable data driven decisions by applying industry-leading machine learning (ML), and GenAI. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Compliance Analyst Senior who can support Microsoft Power Platform workflows and data platform operations of this team. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and help translate these into effective application features that provide a seamless user experience. You will make contributions throughout the lifecycle of application development, including design, low-code configuration and development, testing, release coordination, maintenance, and support. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
5 years of experience as an analyst using data analysis tools
Demonstrates expert knowledge in technical/professional concepts.
Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform services, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Microsoft Power Platform certification(s)
Business analysis certification(s)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Conduct system and workflow analyses to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Translate business requirements into functional application features, supporting application lifecycle management, documenting technical specifications, and engaging stakeholders through training and demonstrations.
Manage complex data analysis projects with limited supervision on only the most complex projects.
Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings and tailor communications to specific audiences.
Manage very complex data extracts and list pulls ensuring data accuracy
Provide new and innovative solutions and recommendations to enhance databases with new data sources and improved data processes
May monitor and manage work activities of less experienced auditors.
Support existing Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, etc.) to improve business processes, workflow, and automation.
Verify data integration across different systems to enable seamless operations.
Conduct application debugging, refinement, and performance enhancement.
Independently solve complex problems, demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgment in application design.
Conduct demonstrations and support training for stakeholders and end users.
Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends.
