Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related legal field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, or regulatory affairs.
• Project management experience with knowledge of compliance laws, especially HIPAA and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to external requests for information related to regulatory filings.
• Manage compliance reporting responsibilities and address inquiries from regulatory agencies.
• Lead and manage ethics and compliance projects.
• Review regulatory requirements and create relevant policies.
• Oversee annual code of conduct attestation and remediation processes.
• Communicate compliance requirements to clients.
• Provide guidance on compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain regulatory documentation.
• Develop and conduct compliance training programs.
• Perform compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Assist in managing relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Support management with compliance officer responsibilities.
• Coordinate Compliance Committee policy implementation.
• Serve as a liaison on compliance-related issues.
