Senior Communications Specialist
About The Position
Description • Master’s degree in communications or related field. • Federal communications experience, preferably DHS/CBP. • Experience preparing materials for Congressional engagement. • Proficiency in visual communications and branding. Key Responsibilities Leads communication strategy, outreach, and materials production to support PMO programs. • Develop communication strategies and outreach plans. • Manage PMO SharePoint homepage content and internal communications. • Draft speeches, talking points, articles, briefings, and public affairs materials. • Support stakeholder relations with OPA, OCA, OCC, and external agencies. • Plan and execute major public events such as groundbreakings and ceremonies. • Bachelor’s degree. • Experience in communications, public affairs, or journalism. • Strong writing and editorial skills.
