About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Collections Representative in the Transaction & Processing as part of the Commercial Lending Operations division. This role involves managing, reviewing, and negotiating a high-risk portfolio consisting of complex delinquent loans of high-level collateralized accounts which require special handling and analysis. The representative will also assist in setting performance standards and recommend process or policy improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Commercial Collections support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Accounting, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • Customer service/Customer Care experience
  • Experience working within the following systems: Artiva, and/or Infolease
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate manner
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to embrace and adapt to change
  • Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Sound organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently in a team environment
  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, and/or economics

Responsibilities

  • Manage, review and negotiate a high risk portfolio consisting of complex delinquent loans of high level collateralized accounts which require special handling and analysis
  • Understand company policies and procedures and execute without issue
  • Assist in setting performance standards, and recommend process or policy improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced individuals
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
