Picture this: it’s first shift and you’re the go-to expert turning complex prints into efficient, shop-ready CNC programs. You’re optimizing toolpaths, prepping first articles, and collaborating with engineers and customer-facing teams to make parts that ship on time and pass inspection the first time. Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC programming from scratch (Mastercam, G-code, M-code).
• Deep knowledge of tooling selection and cutting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine CNC programs from scratch using CAD/CAM tools, translating customer blueprints into robust machining strategies.
• Prepare production by programming machines and assisting with setup ahead of first article runs to ensure a smooth launch.
• Program and, when needed, operate 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and multi‑spindle mills and lathes; work comfortably across HAAS, Mazak, and Doosan platforms.
• Use CAD to adjust part models, design fixtures, and specify tooling that supports consistent, repeatable manufacturing.
• Partner with engineering and customer-facing teams to convert product requirements into practical, efficient machining processes.
• Pursue continuous improvement: analyze machine utilization, compress cycle times, and elevate overall process performance.
• Safeguard quality by aligning to best practices, preparing for inspections, and meeting applicable regulatory standards.
