About The Position

BestLogic Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Milling Setup / Operator for a top manufacturing client. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can independently manage complex setups, adjustments, and high-precision milling operations . You'll be a key contributor to production success and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of CNC milling setup and operation experience
• Strong understanding of multi-axis milling operations
• Proficiency with blueprint reading and GD&T
• Experience with precision inspection tools
• Ability to work independently and manage complex setups
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must comply with ITAR/EAR regulations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Familiarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
• Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience
• Leadership or mentoring experience

Responsibilities

• Perform complete setups and operation of CNC milling machines
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
• Make program edits and optimize machining processes
• Select tooling and determine appropriate feeds and speeds
• Run first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet specifications
• Monitor production runs and make real-time adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Maintain production efficiency while ensuring high-quality output
• Accurately complete all required production documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Support training of junior machinists and operators
• Follow all company safety and operational procedures
