Requirements

  • Five or more years’ experience with large-scale infrastructure systems in a production environment
  • Proficiency with modern programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, C#, Java, or others
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes (cluster lifecycle, networking, upgrades, helm charts) and containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform
  • Proficiency with cloud services and configuration management tools such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience working in an Agile development process
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Azure pipelines, cloud services, and management tools
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and security
  • Experience optimizing performance and scalability in infrastructure systems
  • Experience with service discovery and load-balancing technologies
  • Experience with service mesh technologies
  • Experience with GitOps (Argo CD or Flux)
  • Experience in observability and telemetry in cloud applications (logging, metrics, tracing)
  • Experience operating with DevSecOps CI/CD automation environments
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery in a cloud environment
  • Experience in cloud-native application development, architectural patterns, and best practices with the ability to review and provide feedback on others’ designs
  • Experience in an organization using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • An understanding of Process Control or Distributed Control Systems
  • Ability to travel occasionally (domestically)

Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and manage cloud-native systems such as Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources
  • Document, maintain, improve, and validate work products
  • Participate in agile development process as part of a scrum team including planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement
