The Cloud Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing cloud engineering activities related on the NASIC Enterprise platform to assist with configuring Istio Service Mesh This project offers the ability to work a hybrid schedule at NASIC and remote with a team of highly skilled engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Ability to communicate technical details of work
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
Ability to build & optimize build pipelines
Mentoring of junior engineers
10 years of experience
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Istio Service Mesh
Experience with Linux CLI
Experience with shell scripting
Experience with AWS or similar
Experience with highly scalable microservice ecosystems
