About The Position

The Senior Clinical Program Manager leads the day-to-day operations of remote clinical education campuses, or Clinical Hubs, to deliver high-quality clinical education and rotations for our academic partners and their students. Acting as the operational liaison and facilitator, the Program Manager ensures program coordination, quality, compliance, and smooth collaboration between academic institutions and their students, clinical sites and their preceptors, and AMO company departments. Reporting to the Vice President of Fulfillment, this strategic position fosters partnerships, manages day-to-day site relationships, and oversees administrative functions to uphold clinical standards and support long-term partner success. While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, New York, Ohio, or Texas.

Requirements

  • Tech native/fluency on common productivity tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat
  • Robust knowledge of healthcare education and typical entity relationships, responsibilities, schedules, etc
  • Basic analytics/statistics knowledge (ex: creating pivot tables in spreadsheets to develop insights)
  • Familiarity with program/project budgeting, particularly for educational institutions or clinical sites
  • Project management experience; ability to work and balance multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Conflict resolution and mediation, particularly in an educational or healthcare setting
  • Multiple years in Clinical Education administration/coordination/management for either 1) hospital GME/UME programs, or 2) Medical, PA, or Nursing Schools strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or more

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day operational contact for education programs at one or more Clinical Hubs within a geographic region, supporting clinical outreach, operations, and business development teams with coordination and ongoing management of clinical rotations
  • In collaboration with internal stakeholders, develop, improve, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for Clinical Hub day-to-day operations and clinical management processes for AMO and external partners
  • Serve as front-line support for, and as a liaison between, clinical sites, preceptors, academic institutions, students, and internal teams to ensure high standards in clinical education and adherence to accreditation, regulatory, and institutional requirements. Promptly and correctly identify critical issues and feedback from students and preceptors requiring escalation internally or externally to school/clinical site stakeholders
  • Assist in setting up, coordinating and confirming clinical rotation schedules; inform students and instructors of site-specific policies, requirements, and procedures
  • Coordinate and implement academic partner requirements for evaluation and examination, including collection of rotation evaluations and if required, shelf exam proctoring
  • Coordinate training resources, onboarding materials, and ongoing support for preceptors and students to promote teaching excellence, program alignment, and student satisfaction
  • Review, organize, and verify all student and site documentation for accuracy, compliance, and readiness before rotations commence. In collaboration with clinical site administration, ensure students are correctly and timely onboarded at each clinical site
  • Evaluate current clinical site inventories and preceptor capacity; proactively manage account health, identify risks of churn, and implement strategies for ongoing success
  • Support, in collaboration with other functions, recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for preceptors and clinical sites; organize engagement activities and interdisciplinary learning opportunities for students and preceptors to strengthen partnerships
  • Monitor and analyze data related to site quality, preceptor evaluations, and compliance metrics; generate reports to inform continuous improvement initiatives
  • Track compliance deadlines, required attestations, and site approvals; escalate risks or gaps to leadership with recommended mitigation strategies
  • Support preparation for accreditation reviews, site audits, and partner evaluations by organizing documentation and coordinating site readiness efforts
  • Anticipate operational challenges across remote sites and implement proactive solutions to minimize disruption to learners and partners
  • Coordinate site visits, conduct evaluations, and address any quality or compliance issues proactively
  • Contribute to process improvement projects, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and the development of KPIs to enhance clinical education delivery
  • Identify opportunities to expand preceptor capacity and diversify clinical experiences across sites
  • Support long-term partnership sustainability by identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with leadership on expansion strategies
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline workflows, improve communication protocols, and support overall program excellence
