Watch to learn more Job Summary The Clinical Laboratory Scientist II must have comprehensive knowledge of clinical laboratory science, including its theories, principles, and practices, as well as proficiency with automated computer systems used in laboratory settings. This includes expertise in the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, thorough understanding of federal and state laboratory regulations, and strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance standards. The role also requires familiarity with laboratory procedures and protocols across all disciplines, including chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, serology, and related testing areas. Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student centered and equity minded approach in all communication and service efforts.
