About The Position

Position Summary The Project Management - Client Services focus specializes in coordinating efforts of a cross-departmental or cross-functional team by supporting group progress including scheduling, prioritizing, expectation setting, and cost management for projects focused on client services. Coordinates all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation. Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment or enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagements. May work at client site from time to time. Typically involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development and other members of cross-functional teams. Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. Typically oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment. This role is most common in a software or professional services organization in which the individual does not have responsibility over product development, but does have overall project management responsibility. Individuals with people management responsibility should be matched to Project (Client Services) - Management category. This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Qualifications The person in this position is responsible for maintaining and developing client-business relationships. They are expected to understand the client business functions and requirements and relate those to the Light and Wonder business environment. They manage a team of client account managers and are expected to mentor and empower them in their role. This position is expected to be a “go-to” for senior management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Required Experience: 3-5 years industry experience, 2 years client account management experience, 1 year project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Operational knowledge
  • Superior verbal/written communication skills required
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Project, Visio)
  • Superior presentation skills

  • Deep knowledge of casino operations and LNW product
  • This position requires up to 50% travel (90% Domestic, 10% Internationally)

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Experience: 3 years Gaming experience, PMP certification

Responsibilities

  • Manages Transactional and Partners Accounts on a day to day basis
  • Leads a successful team of client account managers
  • Leads small projects, both internal and external
  • Identifies solutions for issues and assesses the customer's needs
  • Recognizes crisis and has strong crisis intervention skills
  • Knows their audience and adjusts delivery of information based on this information
  • Plans the short and long term needs of multiple customers
  • Understands multiple customer financials as they relate to LNW' business
  • Prioritizes many customer needs, escalations, and wants on a daily basis

  • Fosters customer and internal relationships
