You’ll be leading large strategic sales initiatives to Federal customers that will help them keep their agency connected and running smoothly. You will be the technical expert on the sales team to support all Verizon solutions sales. Partnering with both internal and external teams, you will have a key role in ensuring that our solutions are meeting our customer’s technical needs for the best solution and best customer experience. Because here, better matters. Shaping innovative solutions that address current and future agency needs. Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver outcomes. Building trusting relationships with internal and external customers. Developing and providing expertise in all Verizon offerings, products, and services. Presenting to all types of audiences at executive meetings, customer demos, and trade shows. Supporting our customers through proof-of-concept trials to meet mission needs. Supporting Federal Government accounts. What we’re looking for... You enjoy digging deep to really understand the customer’s vision along with their unique situation and challenges. You like putting things together in new and creative ways to best solve the customer’s most pressing needs. You look for win-win solutions wherever you can and enjoy collaborating with others. You’re not afraid of analytics and like to talk hard data.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical sales experience.
  • Experienced selling to Federal Civilian Agencies
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Eligibility to pass a federal background screening.
  • Experience managing complex technical solutions and demonstrated follow-through.
  • Technology experience with WAN data communications, wireless networks, transmissions, and apps that use wireless technology.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience selling to the Federal Government.
