About The Position

This position will obtain quotes for purchasing items and make purchases using P-cards and other payment methods. Through cooperation, coordination and collaboration among the OneFDOT team, you will be contributing to a strong and empowering culture of TRREC: Trust, Relationships, Respect, Empowerment, and Communication. Requirements

  • Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of the techniques for effectively dealing with people.
  • Knowledge of correct grammar usage.
  • Knowledge of the techniques for effective communication.
  • Skill in providing customer service.
  • Skill in determining priority for numerous phone calls.
  • Skill in use of office equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in an office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and maintains records, filing systems and inventory through the use of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and/or other Department tracking and data management systems. Performs billing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Obtains quotes for purchasing items and makes purchases using P-cards and other payment methods. Processes and prepares invoices.
  • Files general office material and maintains office records.
  • Assists with scheduling meetings and processing office documentation as necessary.
  • Operates a variety of standard office equipment such as fax, copiers, scanners, and computers.
  • Organizes and distributes materials including supplies and other office equipment.
