The Work You Will Do: Senior Clerk District Two Transportation Systems Development District Design In addition to clerical support for the Survey office, you may have the opportunity to assist the survey crew in the field. Requirements

  • Knowledge of general office procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of the techniques for effectively dealing with people.
  • Knowledge of correct grammar usage.
  • Knowledge of the techniques for effective communication.
  • Skill providing customer service.
  • Skill in determining priority for numerous phone calls.
  • Skill in use of office equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and maintains records, filing systems and inventory through the use of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and/or other Department tracking and data management systems.
  • Files general office material and maintains office records.
  • Assists with scheduling meetings and processing office documentation as necessary.
  • Operates a variety of standard office equipment such as fax, copiers, scanners, and computers.
  • Organizes and distributes materials including supplies and other office equipment.
