About The Position

This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Florida Reception Center in the Classification Department. Our mission in the Classification Department is to provide exceptional administrative and clerical support through efficient organization, professional communication, and dedicated service, ensuring the seamless operation of the office while fostering a positive and productive environment for staff, visitors, and the public. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or it's equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced secretarial support, including preparing official documents, typing correspondence, and assisting with reports, projects, and meeting minutes.
  • Perform general clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, and managing mail.
  • Maintain professional communication with staff, visitors, and the public by answering calls, greeting guests, and providing assistance.
  • Organize and manage office files, supplies, and equipment, ensuring everything is ordered, received, and distributed as needed.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the office's operations.
