About The Position

SJH Engineering, P.C., a full-service consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Princeton, NJ (possibility of NY office). This is a full-time, senior-level position focused on leading and managing civil engineering projects, from planning to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in civil engineering, including horizontal/vertical alignments, roadway plans, drainage/erosion control
• Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil3D
• CAD and Bluebeam proficiency
• Project scheduling
• Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Master’s in Civil Engineering
• PE license

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Prepare civil engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, design, and quality standards
