The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for working in conjunction with other members of the sales and events staff to market, sell contract and detail events at Mayo Civic Center. This role involves acting as a senior leader and mentor to assist the catering sales team in accomplishing sales and marketing goals, using Sales and Marketing principles to promote the facility, and assisting the Director in developing a Sales Plan that includes goals and sales/marketing initiatives. The manager will prospect new and repeat business to achieve set goals within a specified market and assist catering sales and service personnel with sales/upselling strategies, service recovery, and problem solving as needed.
