We are seeking an experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team, focusing exclusively on catastrophic injury cases. As a Senior Case Manager, you will manage complex, high-stakes cases that require in-depth knowledge and attention to detail. You will work closely with clients, medical providers, and attorneys to ensure that every aspect of the case is handled with care, from initial intake through to settlement. This is a highly specialized role that demands excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to navigate intricate medical and legal processes. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on catastrophic injury cases (surgical, TBI, spinal cord injuries, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of medical records, treatment plans, and catastrophic injury management
  • Proven track record of managing complex cases and working effectively with medical professionals, clients, and legal teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a high caseload
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients facing significant injuries
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide junior case managers
  • Proficient in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of catastrophic injury cases, including those involving surgical procedures, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and spinal cord injuries
  • Coordinate all aspects of case management, from client intake to settlement, ensuring the timely collection of medical records and other essential documentation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring they receive appropriate medical treatment and care
  • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure that case strategies are aligned with the needs of the client and the legal team
  • Work with medical providers, insurance companies, and expert witnesses to secure necessary documentation and support the case
  • Ensure that case files are properly organized, with all necessary documents and records accurately maintained and easily accessible
  • Monitor and manage case deadlines to ensure timely progression through the pre-litigation process
