About The Position

BrightStar Care, America’s #1 In‑Home Care Agency, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver or Personal Care Attendant for a recurring weekend overnight shift in Simi Valley. This is an ongoing per diem assignment supporting a client with physical limitations and daily living needs. The role involves providing hands-on care in a home setting while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety, with consistent weekend hours and strong clinical support.

Requirements

• Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered support
• Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks, including catheter care (training/support provided if applicable)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate personality

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or home care experience (e.g., CNA, RNA, Med Tech, Caregiver, Personal Care Attendant, DSP I or II, or similar roles)
• Experience with skilled care or complex care needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support with light housekeeping tasks
• Prepare simple meals and assist with nutrition needs
• Provide catheter care assistance as directed in the care plan
• Monitor client safety and comfort throughout the shift
• Support mobility and positioning as needed
• Report changes in condition to the care team or supervising nurse
• Follow all care instructions under RN supervision
