About The Position

Are you compassionate, dependable, and looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? We are currently seeking caring individuals to join our team of Angels, providing non-medical home support to clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Position Overview:
As a Non-Medical Home Health Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, offering companionship, support, and a helping hand to enhance their quality of life.

Visiting Angels provides a variety of non-medical services that allow us to work one-on-one with seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with compassion, dignity and care.

Requirements

• Kind, patient, reliable and caring personality
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiver experience is a plus, but not required (We will train you!!)

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision to ensure client safety
• Assist with fall prevention and safe movement
• Help with nighttime bathroom needs (toileting assistance)
• Assist with repositioning in bed for comfort and skin protection
• Help with dressing or undressing for bedtime
• Provide calm companionship during nighttime wake periods
• Help maintain bedtime routines (getting ready for bed, hygiene reminders)
• Assist with morning wake-up routine if shift overlaps
