Job Overview Assist the PACE IDT in the coordination of essential PACE services and promote participant satisfaction and retention via consistent, high-quality, customer service skills. The focus is on assisting participants with inquiries, service requests, eligibility issues (Medi-Cal and Medicare), complaints, and appeals. Responsibilities also include documentation and processing participant incident reports, processing involuntary disenrollments, and facilitation of on-site satisfaction surveys and other center-wide participant experience activities. Will assist participants and families with linkage and referrals to community resources as needed. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve program and organizational goals while adhering to established State and Federal regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience required.
  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Social Security benefits is required.
  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • PACE program knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in PACE operations managed care operations, or other healthcare settings serving the frail or elderly is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, Chinese/English, or another second language is strongly preferred.
