Curious and innovative problem solvers looking for the chance to meaningfully shape the future of cardiac health, our company, and your career About This Role: As a Senior Cardiac Technician Trainer, your role is to prepare, conduct, and evaluate Clinical Operations training programs, Initiatives, and training events. Responsibilities of a trainer include motivating, guiding, teaching, and training employees to ensure end-user adoption and a high-impact learner experience. You will be responsible for execution and facilitation of training for iRhythm University, New Hire program, along with assisting with new training programs as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • CCT, RN, or Paramedic licensure or certification
  • Formal ECG training experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a role specific to cardiac patients or cardiology, or experience in a position requiring ECG/EKG interpretation; Holter scanner or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s expertise in training or learning and development.
  • Possess a comprehensive, expert knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation with a passion for training, teaching others , and assisting employees to excel.
  • Development of training programs and/or content creation
  • Experience with Articulate, or other training development software
  • Ability to develop training programs and content without the support of external vendors.
  • High competency in the following areas: highly collaborative, strong oral and verbal communication, excellent multi-tasking, planning, process , and project management, effective decision making, result-oriented, ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent planning, observational , and analytical skills coupled with exceptional facilitation and group presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect complex clinical content in a clear, easy to understand manner while evaluating learning outcomes.
  • Lead and work creatively with flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Zoom and Microsoft Office. Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Windows.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Function independently, with minimal oversight
  • Ability to attend the local IDTF in person to support staff and handle escalation issues as required by business needs
  • Willing to participate in professional development activities

Responsibilities

  • Lead training for new hires and Qualified Cardiac Technicians to effectively utilize iRhythm's software to create clinical reports.
  • Instruct new hires and Qualified Cardiac Technicians on arrhythmia recognition and interpretation strategies.
  • Engage, motivate and maintain order of in-person and virtual classrooms.
  • Design lesson plans and/or curricula, build training materials , and utilize a variety of training methods emphasizing adult learning methodologies.
  • Lead the implementation and training of QA tool release updates and relevant scanning tool education.
  • Recommend and influence training content development and delivery options to support high rates of end-user adoption and effective organizational change management.
  • Identify knowledge gaps, performance trends, and opportunities for improvement, and proactively develop training solutions
  • Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to elevate, develop and deliver training content and/or initiatives for the ongoing education within Clinical Operations.
  • Create training materials (course outlines, agendas, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
  • Deploy, train, deliver, and execute iRhythm University and New Hire training as well as other assigned flagship programs or business imperatives.
  • Maintain expert-level clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills; skills development is of high importance.
  • Leads team projects or cross-functional projects as determined by Clinical Training or ClinOps leaders
  • Maintain organized content and ensure training systems and processes are optimized
  • Take ownership of personal/professional development.
  • Self-starter with an ability to identify behavioral and knowledge gaps and develop training to address them.
  • Proactively identify training needs and initiatives
  • Adjust instruction and training delivery based on evaluations and learner feedback
