Job Summary: Independently perform a variety of Calibration Technician functions to support the flow of work through the Tool Services organization and other areas of the facility. This is a 1st shift. DEPARTMENT Tool Services S4 WORK SYSTEM Sr. Calibration Technician # OF OPENINGS 1 AWW1 6:00am-6:30pm is the shift. Reporting to Michael Parcell What You will Do Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform calibration of gages, fixtures, instruments and equipment Plan, estimate, construct, alter, repair and inspect complicated tools, gages, fixtures, models and jigs and perform other tasks related to tool making and inspection Read and work from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, marked prints and piece samples Conduct troubleshooting, design modifications and correlations on tools, gages, and fixtures Select the necessary tooling, perform set-ups and operate calibration inspection and toolroom equipment (ID / OD machine, etc.) Train and provide direction to Calibration Technicians Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously Operate CMM machines Write PCDMIS programs and correlate with other programmers What You Will Learn Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state of the art facility. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
