About The Position

We are seeking an Inspection Technician III to play a critical role in launching high-precision components that meet the demanding standards of flight. Your expertise ensures that every part entering production is compliant, reliable, and ready for mission-critical performance. In this role, you won't just be checking parts—you’ll be safeguarding quality from the very first piece, influencing downstream processes, and serving as a key link between engineering, production, and quality assurance. You will be working in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility which includes new equipment, a cafeteria, onsite fitness gym, golf simulator, outdoor tennis court, basketball court, and pickleball court. Your schedule will be Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM , with overtime on a business need basis. Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with: First Article Inspection, Aerospace and Defense, Discus, Net Inspect, GD&T, mechanical inspection, visual inspection
  • ZEISS CMM Operator experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform First Article Inspections and complete related documentation.
  • Inspect a variety of parts using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, gauges and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.
  • Read, interpret and utilize Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, final inspection & 1st article approval of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware and components.
  • Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks.
  • Verify all work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Administer visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.
  • Complete unit shakedowns (when required) to check for foreign objects, rattles and loose internal hardware.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with files management.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • This position requires successful completion of a post-offer visual examination to assess visual acuity and color vision annually
