Senior C2BMC Radar/SW Analyst

About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the C2BMC program . In this role, you will collaborate with the Regional Applications (RA) Fellow, the RA Analyst team, and software development teams to provide expert-level technical support and system analysis .

Requirements

Professional Experience: Minimum of 20+ years of BMDS (Ballistic Missile Defense System) and Systems Engineering experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of work experience . Note: Master’s degree preferred with 3+ years of related experience
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software engineering processes, principles, and lifecycles
Hands-on data analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and Linux command line
Proficiency in developing tools/log parsers using MATLAB, Bash, Java, or Python
Ability to read and understand Java, C++, and/or Fortran code

Nice To Haves

Previous C2BMC program experience is highly desired.
Experience with missile defense battle management, intercept engagements, and space domain awareness
Experience in Agile Scrum environments
Familiarity with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, sensor tracking, ICDs, and spatial coordinate frames
Prior experience with project management tools such as DOORS, JIRA, or Confluence

Responsibilities

System Performance: Perform high-level analysis, root cause troubleshooting, and technical support for systems software products
Lifecycle Support: Assist in problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support
Collaboration: Interface with product teams to resolve complex problems and set up simulation scenarios to improve system efficiency
Communication: Effectively present technical approaches and findings to diverse audiences, including subject matter experts and senior program leadership
Algorithm Analysis: Understand and analyze complex algorithms related to missile defense command and control, IR sensors, and radar concepts
