About The Position

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. Serve as the lead systems analyst and subject matter expert for Wealth Management Technology at First Citizens Bank, responsible for collaborating with the business stakeholders on requirements, designing, integrating, and supporting enterprise Wealth platforms supporting High Net Worth clients. Serve as the single point of expertise for Wealth Trust platforms (comprising of Envestnet and FIS TrustDesk). Lead analysis and delivery of the initiatives associated with High Net Worth clients across the full lifecycle including referrals, proposal generation, account opening, trading, operations and performance reporting. Own requirements gathering, documentation, QA testing, and sprint delivery for Wealth Technology backlog items, ensuring compliance with SEC, OCC, and FINRA regulatory standards. Work with software engineers to design ETL pipelines and data warehouse integrations for Wealth data, ensuring seamless synchronization across platforms. Act as liaison with external vendors (Envestnet, FIS, etc.) to ensure delivery of bank-specific Wealth solutions. Ensure compliance through Wealth-specific protocols, audit documentation, monitoring and analysis. Provide escalation-level support for highly complex Wealth platform incidents, with no internal redundancy for coverage. Resolve complex production support incidents coordinating cross-enterprise as needed. Serve as a resource to wider business units or associates. Perform data analysis at the most advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output. Handle special projects or direct the analytics efforts of the work group. Determine system requirements and communicate them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Enable strategic insight into business systems through reports to senior management. Evaluate systems based on data analysis, user input, and extensive testing. Convey patterns, problems, and areas of improvement, and develop process enhancements based on results. Provide expert technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Handle escalated and complex support issues. Serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering expertise on systems and data output.

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Analyst, Systems Support, Analytics, Operational Support, Project Manager, Technology Lead, Consultant, Development Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Analyst, Systems Support, Analytics, Operational Support, Project Manager, Technology Lead, Consultant, Development Engineer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Requires experience in business and systems analysis.
  • Requires experience in gathering and eliciting requirements with business stakeholders, documenting requirements as features-user stories and performing subsequent technical analysis in specifications for Wealth Management supporting projects related to High Net Worth clients.
  • Requires expert SQL and ETL skills for Wealth transaction, fee and account data models.
  • Requires at least four years of experience working with FIS and Envestnet.
  • Requires expertise in cross-platform wealth integrations using FIS and Envestnet through APIs and SFTP.
  • Requires experience developing and executing compliance testing and audit readiness testing for third-party wealth integrations.
  • Requires experience in evaluating systems through data analysis, user input, and testing to identify process enhancements.
  • Requires experience in application stability, incident management, root cause analysis, and production support for complex enterprise environments.
  • Requires hands-on experience with ETL processes, SSIS, and Visual Studio Tools.
  • Requires experience with wealth client lifecycle systems including account onboarding, KYC, account opening, investment management, trust operations, and fee billing.
  • Requires wealth vendor management experience with FIS or SEI.
  • Requires wealth vendor management experience with Envestnet.
  • Requires experience balancing BAU backlog execution with long-term transformation initiatives.
  • Requires at least four years of experience working in an agile team.
  • Requires proficiency with Agile and Jira/Confluence.
  • Requires proficiency in cybersecurity awareness, including security protocols, compliance requirements, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Requires experience managing expectations of business and technical stakeholders at all levels and collaborating with cross-functional teams effectively.
