Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field or four years of work experience.
  • Eight years of experience in developing, implementing, training, and supporting new or existing strategic programs and processes.
  • Eight years of program, project, or change management experience (or a combination of the three).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in human resources or a similar field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Consult and partner with executive management to identify key business issues, outline strategic alternatives, and recommend effective solutions to align with Premera's strategic goals. Perform independent analyses for a broad array of complex issues across disciplines and functional areas. Identify and recommend suggested action steps based on analytic results, and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Communication and Presentation: Create, leverage, align, and integrate communication strategies and collateral. Collaborate with others to gain buy-in on programs and processes from business stakeholders. Shape sensitive messages and leader-level communications, propose wording, and merge drafts to land the right tone and messaging before distribution.
  • Project and Program Management: Lead the integration of priority projects and programs by developing project team objectives, managing risk, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and outcomes. Partner closely with teams and leaders to design, implement, and operate new programs and/or enhancements.
  • Collaboration and Performance: Increase team performance and inter-departmental collaboration through contributing insights, leveraging resources, and providing support via scalable projects, programs, and/or initiatives. Partner with the Compliance and Ethics team to refine policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
