About The Position

Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. is seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead enterprise-level business development initiatives across our advanced sealing and engineered materials portfolio. This role will be instrumental in expanding market share, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across aerospace, life sciences, semiconductor, energy, and industrial sectors. This position is designed for a senior-level commercial leader capable of identifying, developing, and closing complex technical sales opportunities while serving as a key partner across engineering, operations, and executive leadership. The role also represents a critical part of the organization’s long-term commercial leadership succession strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or strategic account management
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing new business opportunities
  • Experience selling technical or engineered products in manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, life sciences, or related industries
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable export control requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities aligned with corporate growth objectives
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across target industries
  • Develop and execute strategic account penetration plans
  • Drive revenue growth through consultative, solution-based selling
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineering, procurement, and executive leadership
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions related to sealing solutions, engineered materials, and custom applications
  • Partner with engineering and operations to align customer needs with technical capabilities
  • Identify new markets, verticals, and growth opportunities
  • Support strategic initiatives related to new product introductions and market expansion
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams to support successful execution of business opportunities
  • Support organizational initiatives related to sales process improvement, CRM implementation, and forecasting accuracy
  • Provide commercial insights to leadership to support strategic planning
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast reporting
  • Meet or exceed established revenue and performance targets
  • Support development and execution of strategic commercial initiatives
