A Sr. Business Consultant collaborates closely with cross-functional leaders, project teams, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization. We have adopted an integrated approach to Lean Six Sigma as a problem-solving and performance improvement program. Our team analyses, optimizes, and designs end-to-end business processes and underlying systems through the application of Lean principles. Sr. Business Consultants play a leading role in transitioning to implementation to ensure changes stick, using skills in project management and organizational change management (OCM). Additionally, the position facilitates Kaizen events and Workshops to quickly solve complex business problems and design optimized business processes to enhance experience and deliver on our commitments to our members. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5+ years of related work experience beyond degree within continuous improvement, Business Process Management (BPM), health plan operations, etc.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required
  • Mastery over all Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools including, Kaizen events, A3, Kanban boards, 5 Whys, FMEA, Control Plans etc.
  • Proven leadership ability across large cross functional teams required
  • Continuous improvement and implementation experience required
  • Health Plan/Payer and/or Healthcare operations experience required
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required

Nice To Haves

  • PMI-PMP certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Hands-on change management experience preferred
  • Functional understanding of Agile methodology preferred
  • Client focused program, project, and process management experience including operational and cross-functional workflow optimization
  • Proven ability to formulate content and present clearly both internally and externally
  • Experience facilitating or coaching Kaizen events
  • Experience creating, building, and leading cross functional teams from conception through implementation
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Visio, Smartsheet, PowerPoint & SharePoint
