The Senior Business Analyst supports organizational success by driving data-informed decision-making and process optimization. This role focuses on analyzing operational data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions. By developing insightful reporting tools, predictive models, and clear recommendations, the Senior Business Analyst ensures alignment between strategic goals and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Business Analytics, Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • 4+ years as business analyst supporting one or more business function(s) or working experience in a related field with a fast-paced environment
  • Must have an understanding of key financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to details, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Developed effective business and financial discernment
  • Demonstrates a strong work-ethic and high-level of accountability
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines, effectively manage multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrates strong organization skills, initiative and the ability to be a self-starter
  • Must have an inherent curiosity
  • Ability to analyze high volume of transactions/data
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze operational data from various sources to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze operational challenges and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations for solutions.
  • Map and document current operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor the impact of implemented changes, leveraging data to measure success and guide ongoing refinements.
  • Interpret complex datasets to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions for business leaders.
  • Present findings and recommendations through clear, concise reports tailored to executives, managers, and technical teams.
  • Build predictive and prescriptive models to forecast operational outcomes and evaluate potential scenarios.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs and align on objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure data solutions meet operational requirements.
  • Provide training and support to teams, enhancing their ability to interpret and utilize operational data effectively.
  • Work with IT to optimize data sources, ensuring integrity, availability, and accuracy.
  • Support the implementation and integration of tools, systems, or technologies that improve data management and reporting capabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of operational issues or strategic initiatives as requested by leadership.
  • Assist in developing business cases for new projects or process changes through comprehensive data analysis.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide management with actionable insights for decision-making.
