About The Position

The Department of Veterans' Affairs & the Repatriation Commission and the Military Rehabilitation and Co is seeking proactive and skilled Business Analysts to join dynamic project and program teams across the department. These roles play a critical part in shaping solutions, improving business processes, and supporting evidence‑based decision-making.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience working under tight deadlines and high stakeholder interest, including engagement with SES leaders
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
• Confidence in managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with process modelling, requirements management, and BA toolsets
• A collaborative, outcomes focused approach
• Adaptability and resilience in fast changing environments

Nice To Haves

• Experience with frameworks such as BABOK, AGILE, HCD, user centred design, or Digital Service Standard is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
• Map and improve business processes, customer journeys and workflows
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and collaboration forums
• Analyse data, risks, and system impacts to support informed decision-making
• Present insights and advice to project leadership and senior executives
• Contribute to strategy development, business cases, and implementation planning
• Work in fast‑paced contexts with competing priorities, compressed delivery schedules and heightened scrutiny
