Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis.
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining (on or before the scheduled start date) a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) OR a Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) OR an MBA with a quantitative concentration.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
  • 1+ years of experience in market research
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis

Responsibilities

  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic performance marketing recommendations and/or channel-specific marketing optimizations.
  • Partner with product managers to activate product strategy as part of our overall marketing technology architecture.
  • Support Capital One’s talent marketing efforts and their strategic intent, helping build targeted insights to inform the experimental design and analysis for new and ongoing marketing initiatives to enable campaign, partner, and platform successes (both domestic and abroad).
  • Involve problem frame-works, develop hypotheses, test, analyze, develop solutions, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Capital One Talent Acquisition including but not limited to: IT, Recruiting, Operations, Risk, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
