Requirements

  • 5+ Years experience leading analysis on complex cross-functional projects in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, client onboarding and financial instruments.
  • Experience working on regulatory (e.g. Basel III, Dodd Frank, MiFID II) and operational change projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL) and business process modelling (e.g. Visio).
  • Experience working with commercial and delivery stakeholders to develop the Business Case for project approval.
  • Excellent communication stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project experience, through initiation, execution and closure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of business-critical initiatives.
  • Work closely with the front office, operations, client service, technology teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, analyse current workflows, and drive client centric solutions for our global client base.
  • Lead discovery activities to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for potential new change initiatives, working with key stakeholders to establish scope, forecast potential benefits and estimate cost.
  • Engage and motivate global business and technology teams across multiple business areas and time zones.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to elicit business requirements and manage them throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Support business and technology teams in the design and development of solutions that meet business needs.
  • Analyse and map current vs target state business processes, support business stakeholders in managing changes to those process or operating models.
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance, control, and data governance standards.
  • Present and explain complex business or technical ideas to an audience who are not familiar with the subject.
  • Track and report the status of the tasks, issues, risks and milestones under your control / analysis.
