Our Benefits Include: The Senior Building Maintenance Worker performs skilled building maintenance tasks in the areas of electrical, plumbing, finish carpentry, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, painting, locksmith, and preventive maintenance to provide for the continued, safe, and efficient operation of the facility and associated areas. Day Shift Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Occasional shift change to help with coverage of boiler equipment is required.

Requirements

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver's license.
  • repairs or replaces plumbing lines and fixtures in buildings or facilities
  • installs new or replaces damaged fixtures in buildings
  • performs skilled building maintenance tasks in the areas of electrical, plumbing, finish carpentry, HVAC, painting, and preventative maintenance to provide for the continued, safe, and efficient operation of the facility and associated areas
  • performs preventative maintenance inspection on parts, equipment and structures
  • performs predictive and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure the continued operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment
  • builds or remodels the interior and exterior of buildings to meet the required maintenance needs of the facility and complete work orders
  • completes required reports and records to provide or verify costs associated with the completion of tasks and to account for activities
  • completes general maintenance duties
  • performs other work as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative maintenance inspection on parts, equipment and structures.
  • Performs predictive and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure the continued operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
  • Repairs or replaces plumbing lines and fixtures in buildings or facilities.
  • Installs new or replaces damaged fixtures in buildings.
  • Builds or remodels the interior and exterior of buildings to meet the required maintenance needs of the facility and complete work orders.
  • Completes required reports and records to provide or verify costs associated with the completion of tasks and to account for activities.
  • Assist with snow removal by shovel or heavy equipment.
