The Senior Building Coordinator (SBC) serves as the operational lead for the College of Arts & Sciences Building Operations Program, independently administering and coordinating facility operations across 5–8 academic buildings based on staffing and operational needs. The BC exercises professional judgment to ensure continuity of building operations, occupant safety, regulatory compliance, and effective service delivery across diverse facility types. This position requires substantial responsibility for organizing, implementing, and improving operational processes, and ensuring building procedures conform to University policies and safety regulations. The BC acts as the primary liaison between building occupants, UW Facilities, UWPD, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Academic Technologies, and other central service units. The position regularly develops operational methods, allocates resources, and makes decisions that directly impact program outcomes and building functionality — aligning with the UW Program Operations Specialist classification expectations.
