About The Position
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their team in St. Louis!
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in civil engineering
- Masterâs degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience
- PE License
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design and bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX)
- Extensive knowledge working on MoDOT bridge projects
- Working knowledge of MicroStation software
Responsibilities
- Provides high-level project design
- Review project documents and design quality for complex projects
- Use technical expertise to apply advanced engineering concepts and develop approaches to solve complex issues
- Ensure delivery of completed designs that meet quality standards and project objectives.
- Conducts research in areas of considerable scope and complexity
- Advises/lead staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements
- Works collaboratively to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work
- Assist with developing standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team
- Mentor/train junior staff
