About The Position

This is a hands-on design role, driving standalone design projects and collaborating closely with Art Directors, Retail, Ecom and Marketing teams to deliver engaging visual design content across 360 campaign touchpoints including paid media, social platforms, in-store signage, windows and packaging Hybrid role based in Netherlands. As Senior Brand Designer Team Lead, you’ll guide and elevate our multi-disciplinary in-house design team responsible for print and packaging, retail design, digital formats, and motion graphics. Requirements

  • Degree in print graphic design or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of experience and a strong, versatile portfolio across print incl packaging
  • Background in fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands (agency or in-house).
  • Expertise in brand identity, typography, layout, and maintaining visual consistency.
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, e-commerce, and retail teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with high creative standards.
  • Strong presentation skills and a proactive, solution-driven approach.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro), Figma.
  • Understand digital, ecom and social platforms
  • Excellent presentation skills to craft and “sell” ideas
  • Hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week working in our office based in Hilversum, Netherlands. This is not a remote-working role.

Nice To Haves

  • Motion graphics or 3D skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary design team within our in-house agency
  • Build and nurture a culture of trust, open communication, psychological safety, and camaraderie.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture with performance management, goal setting, coaching, training, regular feedback and overseeing day-to-day design tasks
  • Mentor junior designers and interns, oversee external agencies and freelancers
  • Organisational planning, and overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new team members to ensure the design team is resourced for current and future needs
  • Ensure teams feel supported, aligned, and empowered to do their best work.
  • Lead the design and execution of layouts and creative assets across all channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign concepts
  • Maintain and evolve visual standards, create seasonal templates, and ensure all production files are accurate for print and digital applications
  • Collaborate with Art Directors to bring 360 campaigns to life across digital, social, print, media formats, events, and experiential activations.
  • Work with sourcing and product teams to design functional, on-brand packaging and ‘unboxing’ experience. Deliver technically accurate production files.
  • Create digital assets that drive engagement and conversion for eCommerce, loyalty campaigns, and email marketing, using feedback and A/B testing to improve results.
  • Partner with the VM team for in-store visuals, windows, signage, packaging, POS displays, and digital screen content
  • Maintain and evolve the brand graphic standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all communications.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the visual identity to keep our creative fresh and relevant
  • Point of contact for graphic design-related questions and feedback
  • Own assigned projects end-to-end from concept development to final delivery
  • Set-up organized filing system. Maintain master files and version control (on shared creative server)
  • Ensure conceptual work is reviewed with Creative Brand Director and feedback is actioned prior to sharing with stakeholders
  • Design with sustainability in mind to reduce plastics and waste, explore new materials, and elevate brand perception.
  • Stay ahead of trends in culture, creativity, and technology to help keep our work fresh, relevant, and differentiated incl training of AI and automation tools to understand and apply our design style
