About The Position

The purpose of the Senior BCBA is to oversee assigned clinic(s) to ensure quality outcomes for parent training objectives and authorizations. The Senior BCBA works under the supervision of the LCPC-BCBA implementing the IABA parent training curriculum as well as developing individualized parent training goals in collaboration with the treating BCBA. Additionally, the Senior BCBA completes all assessments and authorizations for the clients assigned to their clinic. The assessment process includes direct overlaps and coordination with the treating BCBA. This may include intakes as assigned by the Clinical Director. When needed the Senior BCBA will assist with supervising caseloads for case coverage (ex: maternity leaves/PTO requests/BCBA Vacancy occurs)

Requirements

A Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
Ability to collaborate with others and create a shared vision
Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner at all times
Strong verbal, written and communication skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to meet scheduling commitments
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Requires a state/national certification as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
NPI and CAQH numbersMust pass a background check
First Aid/CPR training. QBS training offered
Must complete the 8 hour RBT supervision course
Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of auto insurance

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2+ years clinical experience as a BCBA with children with developmental disabilities/autism
Preferred experience in parent training and family centered care
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience supervising and training teams
Precision Teacher preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee assigned clinic to ensure quality outcome for parents in understanding ABA principals
Runs the IABA parent training curriculum in conjunction with individualized parent training goals
Collaborates with treating BCBA to ensure individualized goals are idiosyncratic to their treatment plan as well as socially valid
Provides caseload coverage as needed in the event of a BCBA vacancy.
Working a hybrid schedule within the office (two-three days) as well as two evenings a week from home as needed for parent training when not supporting a caseload
Overlaps all assigned clients minimally one time per quarter to set socially valid goals
Supports parents through telehealth appointments as well as office/in-home depending on funding source
Documents parent progress within curriculum via Central Reach or Precision X
Educates and engages all clinic parents through either weekly or bi-weekly parent training sessions
Graphs and analyzes parent data for individualized parent training goals (must be on file for all clients)
Works under the supervision of and collaboratively with the LCPC-BCBA of IABA and their assigned Clinical Supervisor for the IABA evaluation system
Assists with Clinical Documentation audits as the liaison to parents as needed
Completes assessments and authorizations as assigned by the Billing Department and supervised by Clinical Supervisor
Coordinates with the treating BCBA through the assessment process to include overlaps and treatment plan review
Assists the Clinical Director in the assignment of Case Management work for RBTs including the creation of tasks the support client care
Oversee quality outcome for clients as defined by company standards
Supports intake cases with the Clinical Director
As needed assists in supervising caseloads for case coverage
Meet monthly service aim of 135 hours per month
Follows the guidelines for intern supervision
Develop materials for staff training and client programming in collaboration with the IABA Leadership Team
