About The Position

The Sr. Biorepository Service Manager serves as a critical operational liaison between internal customers and Biorepository functional teams, ensuring the seamless execution of complex service requests across the sample management lifecycle. This key customer-facing role operates with substantial autonomy to intake, assess, prioritize, and coordinate Biorepository services while maintaining compliance with industry standards and quality management systems. As a senior individual contributor, this position provides technical expertise, drives process optimization, and mentors colleagues in a matrixed environment to deliver exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to essential duties; or Associate’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of relevant job-related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex operational workflows involving cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary point of contact for internal customers and cross-functional teams, translating technical requirements into actionable plans; proactively manages changes, risks, and evolving requirements to maintain alignment and trust.
  • Coordinates end-to-end execution of complex Biorepository service requests across multiple functional teams, assessing feasibility, managing interdependencies, communicating progress, and ensuring on-time delivery against service-level agreements.
  • Develops and maintains request tracking systems, dashboards, and metrics that provide actionable insights into service delivery execution, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identifies and implements enhancements to service intake, triaging, fulfillment workflows, and system utilization to reduce cycle times, minimize errors, and improve customer experience.
  • Ensures Biorepository service execution adheres to best practices, quality standards, and applicable regulations; supports deviation investigations, corrective actions, and audit activities.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to less experienced staff; leads cross-functional project teams and influences outcomes in a matrixed environment.

  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel between Exact Sciences locations.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
